Our Story

After losing my job in 2023, I decided to go into business for myself, doing what I love to do - bake!

The first iteration of my business was called Dolce. "Dolce" means sweet, in Italian, and my aesthetic was very demure and delicate. For anyone who knows me, you know that I am neither of those things. I am loud and opinionated and that's how The Feisty Italian was born!

As the child of Italian immigrants, I practically grew up in the kitchen, soaking in the sights and smells of my family’s baking extravaganzas. From traditional Italian cakes and cookies to giving a European twist to North American desserts, I got my first taste of creating goodies for family and friends—mostly to bribe them into making me their favourite. Now, I make baked goods that not only look so good they could be Instagram models but also taste like a slice of heaven. Everything is made from scratch with the crème de la crème of ingredients—because if you’re going to indulge, you may as well do it right!
